Our customized & personalized focused history tours provide you with the chance to explore places and memorials in Europe. You'll have a chance to understand how our past is interconnected with countries like the United Kingdom, France, The Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Germany.
The majesty of the Canadian memorial at Vimy Ridge. The emotional, intimate Newfoundland memorial at Beaumont Hamel. The expanse of the Normandy D-Day landing beaches. We also visit smaller, lesser known places, giving you an emotional learning experience and probably a different view of the world.
With expert Tour Leader Concierges and longer stays in excellent accommodations, you'll have a balance of guided and unique activities along with free time, so you can experience the highlights, the lesser known places, and also do what you want to. Our tours are designed to let you be a traveller rather than a tourist. All with the comfort, support and ease that only small group travel can bring.
Our programs work in two ways:
Open Tours: Designed for individuals and people travelling together who want to join others on a small-group tour experience and visit the major sites of Canadian and American history in Europe. Combined with culinary and other culture programs, we add local restaurants, markets, museums and art galleries, music and you learn about our country's history in a whole new way.
Customized Tours: Designed with and for groups and enthusiasts who want to have a very in-depth Canadian or American history experience, with the majority of the tour devoted to these visits. In addition to the major memorials, the sites visited may have particular, specific meaning. Perhaps locations where a Regiment fought, or a family member served. We work with you from the start to build and deliver programs that take you these places, and give you the time to really explore them.
